What is Glaucoma?

What is Glaucoma?

Glaucoma refers to a group of diseases that damages the part of the optic nerve that carries visual information to the brain. The terrible aspect of Glaucoma is that there are no symptoms until it’s too late and that’s why it’s extremely important to get your eyes checked on a regular basis. Once you get diagnosed with Glaucoma, the eye damage is almost always irreversible.
