Breast Cancer Awareness Month
is an annual international event that is held every year in the month
of October. Groups of breast cancer charities gather together every year
to:
- Increase awareness of breast cancer
- Raise funds towards finding a cure
The money that is raised is used for many of things including researching what causes breast cancer, how to prevent
breast cancer, how to diagnose Breast Cancer earlier on as well as treating and curing the terrible disease.
